Sea Trials
It's a cool night up here on the shore of the Salish Sea and a perfect excuse to 'tuck in' with an early copy of Sea Trials (12th book in Alaric Bond's Fighting Sails series.
Early chapters, but no disappointment here.

Re: Sea Trials
Still unseasonably "cool" up here and good opportunity to continue my reading (kindle) of Alaric's latest adventure in the Fighting Sails series. Passing the 'half-way point' and the action remains almost 'continuous'. Not easy to put down, but not unexpected from this 'new classic' author.

Re: Sea Trials
Well, Sea Trials is 'in my wake' because at the 3/4 point, I could not 'put it down'. My best comments on earlier books in author Bond's Fighting Sails series continue to hold true. Simply said, these are HNF for 'action addicts' though there is far more to the fabric of these 'yarns'. The list of players is extensive and all have 'voice' (as well as depth) in the telling of the story. There is both the unexpected happening when unexpected and the sun shines when none is expected.
I recommend it to you.
